Beignets and Easter eggs...

Henry is less than a year old, and he has already completed two Crescent City Classics (last year while still baking), probably more than a large percentage of locals. Ryan and I also participated in our second Crescent City Classic, this year we both walked the race, pushing Henry. At one point, I did run, I ran ahead to buy beignets. I passed Cafe Du Monde during the Rock and Roll Half Marathon, I was not going to pass the opportunity again. Surprisingly, I was the only person in the place with a race bib on, I surely would have thought someone else would have the same idea, I was mistaken. But as the woman in front of me said, "You earned your beignets." Yes, yes we did.

Can't really see it behind the stroller bar, during the race, someone gave Henry a stuffed bunny rabbit.

Still too young to carry his Easter basket and hunt for eggs. Instead, we put him in his Easter basket! Next year, little man, you will be an expert Easter egg hunter!
