Mardi Gras 2016...

Our second year in Louisiana, experiencing Mardi Gras was a success. We feel like we have a better understanding of what Mardi Gras is, but if you have never attended a Mardi Gras parade, words cannot fully explain the craziness and excitement. When Mardi Gras season begins, parades are happening almost daily, and many days, multiple parades are happening at the same time. It is a party that lasts for weeks.

Three quarters of the way...

...to having a one year old. Henry is 9 months old! We just had his 9 month check up and things are looking great. Baby Boy is packing on the pounds, and growing like a weed. 21 pounds and 29 inches. Thankfully, since his last visit, his head has not grown any.

We are in the full swing of Mardi Gras season. Henry has enjoyed the two parades he has attended, and we have plans to attend more. I will save all the Mardi Gras pictures and post them in a future post. For now, enjoy Henry's 9 month pictures, and a few of my favorite from the past month!

My boys.

A little window watching with Macy.

Rocking his flannel like Papa Pagels.

Loves his runs with Mom! (glad someone enjoys them, I still do not)
Half marathon/marathon at the end of this month!

Modeling his NASA shirt Ryan bought for him while in Houston.
