First Family Vacation...

Seattle, Washington was the destination for our first family vacation. The plane ride could have been shorter, and/or a direct flight, but Seattle proved to be an excellent choice. We arrived a couple days prior to Ryan's Ironman race, and stayed a couple days after.

Traveling with a 3 month old baby makes everything more interesting, but Henry did an excellent job. He handled the flights and layovers like a pro. Nighttime sleeping was not too bad, and for our crazy, all day long adventures, he remained chilled. Ryan and I feel like we can continue to travel with Henry. Rather than adventures for the two of us, it will be adventures of three.

Our time in Seattle found us participating in many of the common tourist attractions. We visited the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, Mount Rainier, Pike Place Market. Ryan also booked a whale watching trip. Below are some of my favorite photos from the trip:

Henry enjoyed the Chihuly glass.

Ryan and Henry at the top of the Space Needle.

Photo opportunity stop during our drive to Mount Rainier.
No, Henry did not take our photo.
We used the self timer with the camera sitting on the hood of the car.

Henry was sleeping, but I didn't want to miss his photo with Mount Rainier.
I got creative, using the car window's reflection.

Whale watching.

Henry really enjoyed the whale watching.

Visiting the gum wall at Pike Place Market.

Visiting the REI flagship store.

Looking super cute in his plaid and overalls.

Checking out the Dungeness crab.
