Reservations are booked for New Year's Eve dinner at a restaurant specializing in Bordeaux wines. It is a set menu with wine pairings for each course. The perfect introduction to French wine, food, and celebrating the end of 2013 (a wonderful year). After dinner we will join the party crowds on Champs Elysees to ring in the New Year.
A few days ago, I received this email from Ryan:
Subject: oh hey, just thought of something…..
We're going to have date night at the Eiffel Tower!
Besides our New Year's Eve celebration, and our Eiffel Tower date night, we do not have anything planned for Paris (if you know me, you know that's a teeny tiny lie, I always have things "planned" but nothing is booked or set in stone, just ideas), we are going to go, celebrate, and enjoy the city. We will also be taking a weekend trip from Paris to Aberdeen, Scotland to visit the Perry Family (this is definitely planned, booked, and we are so excited)!
We are set for an exciting first week of 2014, and hope the remaining weeks of 2014 continue to be filled with many more exciting adventures. This will be my last post for 2013. We wish our family and friends a Happy New Year!
