Macy's Mystery......solved

Ryan was in town for Macy's vet appointment (all the way back on December 27th).  I am finally getting around to posting the results.  During the appointment, we were questioning the veterinarian about what breeds he thought she may contain.  At the time of her adoption, we were told she was a beagle, american bulldog mix.  The veterinarian told us about dog DNA tests, a simple blood sample would be taken and sent into a lab.  A few weeks of waiting and we had the results.

Curious as to what she is?

The results were:
50% rat terrier
25% boxer
25% german short-haired pointer

Of course, there is always room for error and it may not be exactly 50-25-25, but the 3 breeds are her strongest bloodline breeds.

And, a blog is not complete without a few pictures.  Maybe you can see some of her breed qualities?

We are finally getting snow here and Macy loves it.  She runs like crazy and tries to catch the snowflakes.  Notice her tongue is out in this picture.

If she is not catching snowflakes, she is digging.  She refuels with large mouthfuls of snow, which I think results in her throat getting too cold because she starts coughing.

"Is there something on my nose?  It seems to be a bit cold."
